Windows 10s on surface laptop are slightly different then windows 10 pro.windows 10s are dependent on store you can't use apps outside from store which risky and impactful on performance actually you can say that windows 10s are most secure and fast os and you will love it.

You can say it is another try by MS to launch the RT version of Windows, maybe this time they learned
Microsoft is going the way of Google trying to migrate PC and phones to use one steamed line app store.
    Is it more secure?
There are many malware both in Google store and some in apple store so I guess MS store won't be different.
Sure it is going to be different experience, easy to get apps from one place and with the right setting for your machine
Maybe the windows ecosystem will be less bloated with drivers you don't need, which will make your device work better.
    Need to wait and see....

I personally think that if they release a Surface Phone it will run on W10S (queue the W10M is dead), that's why they released it before the phone, to try to fill the store with apps before they release the Phone.
