Laptops and Desktops for sure has java installed, allowing it to have java programming programs (BlueJ, & Eclispe) to be compatible. It is questioning for those that are seeking Surface Pro devices that can be used for computer programming. So is it java programming compatible with surface pro devices?

    Of course!

It is after all still a full fledged computer.

If your thinking of getting one, there is a dedicated sub section for all things Surface :) Microsoft / Nokia - Windows Central Forums

so come and join one of these discussions or ask your questions (after joining of course :) )

Also I would recommend dropping by the introductions section here: Introductions - Windows Central Forums
There are plenty of us here that are more than happy to help with your questions etc.

Edit: Looks like the crazy speedster mods have beat me to the punch :).
