trying to edit and render video using windows movie maker - this would work fairly well on my surface pro 3 running win 8 - however 80% of the time it cause my surface pro 4 to freeze, or cause multiple graphics driver errors which end up corrupting the video file.

I have also tried Adobe Premier Pro and that too has similar issues when rendering.

Is this is a known issue? Is there any software out there that I can actually use and will work with win 10?

Yes, I have the latest update, yes I have the latest drivers

What I would do is get the Intel updater utility. It searches your pc for drivers and recommends newer ones. You can do everything all within the application. Not sure how up to date the OS updates are compared to directly from intel. And of course if there's an nvidia card get the latest Nvidia drivers.

All I know is that when I installed the intel utility it actually installed newer drivers than what was available in the OS updates. Mine is just a PC though.
