My pen clicker isn't working properly.

• I even disconnected and reconnected it via Bluetooth.
• it can write fine, however, when its not connected, it creates a blotch ink while writing, and it clicks and writes on things as it hovers on the screen.
• I cant click to open onenote or double clck to screenshot. This is a bit frustrating. I've restarted surface and nothing.

Its working again, but is this normal that I have to pair it up every so often?

Bluetooth is weird. Sometimes it just goes stupid (I've seen it on many devices) and you just have to re-pair devices.

But the first thing I always check/do is charge/replace the battery in the Bluetooth device. That generally clears up the issue, especially with a brand new Bluetooth device. If it comes a replaceable battery, I usually toss that one and get a new one right away. Why? Manufacturers always give you the cheapest, crappiest, battery they can find.

I read on this forum that somebody actually returned the pen and got a new one and the new one didn't have these issues.
