failed updates windows 8.1

Hello. you can't know how much I searched the whole internet for a solution to this issue which I think to be very common and popular.

How can I install the updates which were failed to install ( or download or process or what ever I don't exactly know ) during windows update? I find many of failed updates in "view update history" but can't find any way to reinstall them or something.

I tried restarting, checking again and also did a factory reset on my surface pro 3 but again many of updates were failed.

I am not interested in the error codes because they just say what happened. I just want to say ok, what happened is happened, let's find a solution now.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. At that point I'd let it go automatic because sometimes it just happens. I've had failed updates before and they sorted themselves out. Although that's just anecdotal evidence.
