Will the m3 version of surface pro be powerful enough?

I'm thinking of getting the m3 version during the Black Friday deals, I can't afford the upgraded versions so just kind of need to know if it would be worth getting the m3 version. I would consider myself a pretty casual user generally but will be using the Microsoft office and need it to be able to handle spreadsheets and databases etc.

Will it be powerful enough for this comfortably or would I better getting a more traditional laptop? I already have an iPad as a tablet so could get a more traditional laptop but do like the idea of the surface pro..

Thanks.

It'll be fine unless your spreadsheets and databases are more resource-intensive than basic work.

Or if you'll be doing a lot of stuff at once like heavy web browsing, multiple spreadsheets open, etc - I would probably get a model with more than 8 GB of RAM. Otherwise the M3 should be fine.
