SP1 rebooting

I had my surface pro reboot convectively three times last night. Haven't had any issues since but the way I had the sp laying was flat on my lap, and the keyboard on my stomach... (As the kickstand sucks on your lap.

I think it had more to do with the power cover than the surface pro. Both batteries at 50% or higher at the time this has happened.

It has happened a couple of other times but that is on a desk, and it just reboots once. Anybody else experiencing this?

Update: I took it into the MS and got a free update to the SP3.

You got a free upgrade from an SP1 to an SP3? Wow, gotta get me a broken SP1 too!

If you break it then you would have to pay the deductible. The Microsoft Complete is 100% worth it!

your unit still under standard warranty? which MS store did the "update"? SP1 is out of stock that's why they update to SP3?

yes that is correct. I live in the Seattle area and went to a local place here. I never asked for it, rather it was offered to me.
