In the about section of my phone, my 1020 is only referred to as the Nokia 909. Weird, maybe they did change the lame last minute. Either way, loving this phone!

I also noticed "Cyan Lumia 920" as the device name. That's odd too, since there is no cyan 1020.
909 was the code name for what is now known as the Lumia 1020.
I understand that to some degree, but code names don't end up as the model name on the phone. I am arguing that it was the 909 all along and they made a last minute decision to change it to the 1020.
Last minute as in 2 years ago when they switched to wp7..
They know that naming it 909 would cause confusion, not just at the last minute..
And work names - product names are totally different, for them its easier to work with 909 because of the 808
yes, thats what I said.. work names don't end up being the published name of the phone...Nope sorry that name wouldnt end up in there from 2 years ago. The Lumia 920 has "Nokia Lumia 920" in that spot, not "Nokia Phi" as was its codename.
