Button LED behaviour

The 1020 is my first WP8 device and I wanted to ask what is the normal behaviour of the LED lights on the buttons? On my Samsung Focus (WP7) it works that if I touch any button, the buttons light up briefly and then turn off after few seconds, isn't that how its suppose to work?

So far I tested the power saver setting on the 1020, when power saver is on buttons LED is off, but when power saver is off the buttons LED is on all the time, even when watching videos which is a bit distracting, any way to make it behave like on WP7, so the button LED only turns on when a button is touched. Or is this some bug?

Not a bug, WP8 keeps them illuminated when in use.

Thanks, good to know its meant to be like that; but still it kind of bugs me, I think it was a more elegant solution the way it worked on WP7, with them iluminating just when in use. If anyone from Nokia around here, here is a good idea for a settings app ad-on so users could set-up the way they want the button illumination to work.
