My 3rd in a series... I am opening the .dng and manipulating it in Rawer, but I'm only enhancing the color, not significantly altering it. We are not sure why, but this certain stairwell at the hospital keeps changing color. It's been red, then blue and now it's a pinkish purple.




The Bradford Pear trees are in high bloom. One good breeze or a rambunctious squirrel and it will all be over. This one is the .jpg done in Rich Capture. The light is from an arc light mounted on the side of my building. No flash. Best lighting selected in edit.




Same deal here, but with Flash added to the equation.

Comparing three versions of this image. All files reduced in size to 1600px wide. The image was shot handheld (braced) ISO 100 f/2.4 1/2s at -1.33eV 4.46mm.

(top) unedited raw dng file as downloaded from Onedrive:


(middle) raw DNG manually edited in ACDSee Pro 7


and (bottom) the default processed jpg straight out of the camera



I actually prefer the color profile as applied to the jpg default processing and was unable to replicate it.

The jpg looks a bit warmer than the manipulated dng... Perhaps a touch more saturation. That is a nice job by the algorithms. (Microsoft) Camera in W10M?

I think I gave a squirrel a heart attack this evening. He was relaxing on the balcony and I rushed out to snap some pics... Sorry little guy, but the light was just right and I had to get some shots.

Another from ProShot, Landscape this time. These were both 5MP shots.




Here are two from Camera360 Sight, 16MP. I had to reduce them slightly for the forum size limit.

This one was cropped 1:1 out of a Portrait mode shot.




Oddly enough, even at 5MP this one had to be reduced to fit the forum. Even though I only reduced it by 5% the file size dropped dramatically from 3.99MB to 1.59MB.
