My Nokia Lumia 520 touchscreen is not responding as it should

The touchscreen isn't working correctly, it is intermittent. Also the screen keeps jumping to other screens & even phoning numbers without prompting, although it's not allowing it to connect. The phone was fine yesterday & started this when tried to use today

Remove battery for 10 minutes and clean screen with dry microphiber
