Low phone storage

I have added a micro sd card to my 521; and redirected it to save images, music, and video to the card. However when downloading podcasts I continue to get low storage warnings with some podcast episodes failing to finish downloading. I know it puts them on the sd card as I can see them in the podcasts folders there. Does Windows phone require files to be downloaded to internal storage first and then moved to the sd card? If so that will make things interesting.

I have a similar issue. How many photos do you have on the Camera syncing to OneDrive? What are your GB of Temporary Files? (Settings>Storage Check>Settings). Mine is 6.6GB on a Lumia 822!

I have probably several dozen pictures that have been backed up with Onedrive. Temp files show as 1.5GB. Part of my problem is that Audible stores its files as part of the app and will not use the expanded storage. The cyan update which should allow me to move the whole app over will be much appreciated. Any time now T-Mo.
