Why is my phone not charging or powering?

My Nokia Lumia 625H does not switch ON or power the battery. When I plug it to the charger the battery sign with a red bar appears and the charger sign keeps bleeping or flashing but not charging the battery and it does not switch on. I plugged it for the whole night but the same thing continued then I bought a new battery and tried to charge it and the same thing happened

Could be a bad cable... Try a different one.

Could be a bad port. Inspect the charging port for any debris stuck in there.

Could be a bad chip somewhere on the Motherboard.
