Lumia 830 vs Lumia 925

Anyone coming from a 830 to a 925? How is it? I am pondering going from a 925 to a 830 since the 16gb storage space has become an issue. Aside from the obvious specs, any major differences I should be concerned about?

A while ago there was an article in windows central where the 830 was compared with the 920. I think this article gives a good overview and because the 925 is similar to the 920 it could be use full for you.

I went from a 925 to my 830. Everything is great on this phone, you'll love it. You'll have to get used to the some known bugs on the 830 which seems to solve with the post Denim update

It's really no contests between the two. My biggest bug is the search button not responding every once in a while. My wife has no issues with hers. My 925 is on the shelf not being used. Couldn't go back really.

The only advantage I see with the 925 over my 830 is things are a touch sharper because of the higher DPI (given the smaller screen on the 925, of course). Otherwise, I'm finding the 830 to be an excellent device overall (at the $380 I paid for mine, not necessarily the $499 Microsoft was asking for it or even the $449 it's currently listed at).

​I had the 925 and it was amazing, great camera in low light, beautiful screen, the design was different beautiful, just the battery was an issue. I try the 830 but didn't like it. Finally bought an 930 and I'm pretty happy with it.

The 830 are the only lumia I so far has been satisfied with. The 925 had too much bezel. The 930 too thick and heavy and poor battery.

It's not fair compare the 930 and 830 battery, the 930 battery have to power a stronger processor and a bigger display. If we talk about battery only then buy an 735 that have better battery life than an 830

I have done this step but im somewhat undecided.
On the one hand 5" is perfect for me. Better legibility and better battery performance (2-3 days) and the 830 is not that slippery like the 925.

On the otherside i dislike the display of the 830. The viewing angles are bad and the colours are not that powerfull like the OLED display of the 925. (Even Glance on LCD makes no sense to me, because the whole screen is enlightened, drains energy and the backround glows in the dark.)

And i got some issues with denim now ... screen flickering on lowest brightness in the display settings and way too bright capacitive buttons. (Would be nice someone could confirm its gone after a hard reset or usage of recovery tool. Im on DP with 8.10.14219.341)
