Not Reading ST Cut Sim

I have a cut sim card from Straight Talk that I have been using in my Iphone 4. I just went and picked up the 900 and put in the SIM and it still shows no SIM.

Anyone else having problems with the phone not reading the SIM card?

I went ahead and ordered a Micro Sim from ST, so hopefully that will fix the problem, or I will have to try and exchange the phone.

Yes, I have this exact problem now with my lumia 900. Used my red pocket sim that I trimmed down and only once in a while will the phone recognize the sim.

Mine works

My ST sim was cut down with the sim cutter at the retailer (MS Store).

It works, although it took a few master resets and changing the data/proxy settings etc. See prior thread on that one....

But now ST works fine and I'm getting 4G (HSPA+)

The only thing data wise that doesnt work is MMS, and apparently that can't be fixed unless and until Nokia re-offers its data setup app on the Marketplace.
