920 email issue?

So my live tile notifies me that I have a new email. Well, that's very helpful so I open up the mail account to have a look. After reading, I choose to the delete the message but when the phone syncs again, the mail returns. I've tried deleting and then deleting from the trash can for the mail account but they still come back. This is affecting my Hotmail account and another provider as well.

Is this a known bug? Any workarounds?

I deleted a couple of emails on my 920. Hit sync a couple of times and they were still gone. Went to my surface and they were there but after hitting sync they were deleted there as well. This was only my Hotmail account, haven't tried it on a different account.

Happy to report that the 'issue' seems to have corrected itself. Perhaps it was a temporary server/phone issue. I didn't change any settings and all is working as it should now :)
