I just connected my 920 to my PC and opened Nokia Software Recovery Tool and it now shows that there is a newer release available. Nokia Software Update for Retail also shows the same update. The new firmware version is 3051.50009.1424.0008 which is very similar to the Cyan build number for the Australian 925 CV so I'm pretty confident that this is the Cyan we 920 owners have been patiently waiting for.
I am currently on Lumia Black with PFD 8.1 and GDR1 so if I want Cyan I have to use this method and roll my 920 back to 8.0. I have only just rolled back to 8.0 then back to 8.1 DP so I could get past the 0x80188308 error to install GDR1 so I wont lose much by going through everything again. I will probably install the Cyan update and then back up to PFD for 8.1 and GDR1 tomorrow when I have more time.
