battery status after soft reset

I have had a 925 for about three weeks. I usually charge it overnight using the USB charger that came with it. For the past few mornings, the 925 has not been completely charged in the morning. Settings > battery saver may indicate that it is 68-89% charged. However, I have discovered that after I perform a soft reset, the battery status changes to 99-100%.

I believe that when you perform a soft reset on your device the phone basically does a factory reset on all your software, only keeping your data. This means that it starts reading the battery from scratch again and at least at first it must read the level it's at when you soft reset as being 100% full. The OS is consistently monitoring the battery charge level, however, so once you've discharged your battery once or twice the readout should be accurate again. Nothing to be worried about.
