As many of you know EE can be a pain in the rear to get an unlock code... Having to be the original owner, have to be with them 6 months before they will do anything and charge 20.

I found a company on ebay that will do EE for 25. It took a week but now have an unlocked 930.

Thanks a lot for sharing, as EE has rejected me twice for the SIM unlock request (they say i have less than 6 months with this phone),

I dunno about CWH, but phones4u sold all phones unbranded and unlocked. No sense with contract, pay as you go. So there was always better deals than in operator stores...

Same with Carphone Warehouse, my 930 on EE is unbranded with CV firmware :)

Yup, all carphonewarehouse phones appear to be network unlocked. As it should be. What a pain - especially if you're on a fixed term contract. It's not as though they'll not be getting their monthly fees. Crooks lol

I just vowed never to go near EE ever again after my unlock fiasco. Got my 930 from GiffGaff and a good deal it was too.
