    Hi guys,

I was just curious to know if the Icon had any ability to work in China? I know some phones are international phones but wasn't quite sure where the Icon stood. If the Icon is not international, what are my options for my business trip to China? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

It is internationally unlocked. You can use it in China.
You probably can use any carrier in China, but I'd suggest you to stick with China Unicom. It may be the only one gives you fastest data connection. Icon doesn't support China Mobile's 3G or LTE, you will only get edge if you choose it as your carrier.

It's going to work, the question becomes how well.

yihong kang nailed in the head. Unicom is your best bet for 3G or H+ speeds as it looks like they have WCDMA rolled out on their UMTS network.
