I brought up the RED Hydrogen One some time ago because I figured some of the camera lovers here, like myself, would be interested in it. It's still pretty under the radar, but I've been using it for over a month now and love it!

Phil Holland released this graphic today outlining some of the hardware details of the phone:

I'm going to cave and share a few photos from it with you guys. The car headlight one is slightly cropped (and also more compressed because I let Google Photos compress it), but otherwise they are all straight out of camera. Also it's just going to keep getting better; I have a pre-release unit and they've continued to make IQ and color science improvements.

Nice shots! I'm jealous that you have a pre-release unit.

Thanks! And don't worry, public release is set for November, so everybody will be able to buy soon enough anyway.

The Aluminum model will sell for $1,300. Unfortunately not in the wheelhouse of many people, but it is at least more innovative than other phones that are now in this price range too.

Plus I'm largely in it for the Cinema module they are going to release, which will have a proper sensor and interchangeable lens mount system. If the module can actually best mirrorless cameras as they are expecting, then it would be a good investment for me.
