I would like to use the scan text translate function of the phone (press the search button then the eye, then scan text) to translate from Korean to English. But everytime I try it detects it as simplified Chinese and translates it into total gibberish.

You can select the language you translate TO, but I cant find a way to select the language to translate FROM. Anyone know of a way? Please?

    Thanks!!

Try the Bing Translator app, I know you can change the source in that one. Not sure if Korean is in there, might have to download a language pack from the app.

I don't think they support translating from Korean via the camera yet, only like 5-6 languages supported via that method right now if I recall. I hope they add more quickly, that's a great feature.

You're right, Korean isn't in there. Hopefully they'll add that language pack soon.
