Anyone else seeing this? My phone showed 13%, I rebooted and it came up 89%. This has happened a few times. This is OS data. Not from an app.

Can confirm I have noticed this behaviour as well prior to the 8.1 Developer Preview Update. However post update, I haven't yet noticed anything yet.

I definitely had this issue on the first 8.1 with a 925. Haven't noticed it since the latest update but it was kind of random before.

I've had it happen 3 times on my 920 since I installed the update the day it came out. Did not have it with the original 8.1.

it happened to my 928 once before getting the last 8.1 update, the signal was so bad and it was heating really bad and it crashed and went black and rebooted, once it rebooted i saw the battery at 13% or something, then i rebooted it again and back to normal, maybe yours are getting rebooted without you knowing and you see that bug, it happened with my old nokia 5230 when using EDGE and maybe with my N97 too, seems like nokia phones hate bad cellular conections xd

I guess the lumia cyan firmware should help.. from the above posts it appears to be totally random. If I look back, I only had this occur about a few times prior to portico and maybe twice after amber. After all my L920 has been pretty much solid and hasn't really locked up when compared to others. So touch wood, I hope it stays that way after the lumia cyan update as one can't really complain about the developer preview which maybe feature locked but it doesn't mean its not full of bugs.
