Inprivate browsing issue after update 1

Search using the address bar in inprivate tab after update 1 opens bing/cortana search in a new non-private tab. Kind of defeats the purpose. Anyone else have this problem and is there a fix?

manually browse to a different anonymous search engine is the best workaround.

Yeah I suppose that works. Playing around with IE a little more I noticed that even in a non-private tab, a search automatically opens a new tab with a bing search. There used to be an option for whether you wanted to open a new tab with a search or search within the current tab and I no longer see it. Is it gone with update 1 or am I missing it somewhere?
