Ladies and Gentlemen! The Odyssey is now InteropUnlocked!

For those who are new to the hacking world, you can have new features added to your phone!
You need to have Developer Unlocked your device to do this. Go here to (XDA-Developers) to answer any questions you may have. Scroll down the page a bit to find it.
Use the ever convenient [XAP] [v1.2] Interop Unlock Helper app for Samsung WP8 phones - xda-developers instead of using the attached file and renaming it. It has these same steps in the app.

1. Launch the Native Toast Launcher attached and replace the existing app-id with the following,
   

   51d4668e-01fa-4b6f-a8af-5170b5d7484c

   This opens the Samsung Registry editor.
2. Select the bubble for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
3. Check the box for DWORD.
4. Copy the following into the first box:
   

   software\microsoft\devicereg\install

5. Copy the following into the second box:
   

   MaxUnsignedApp

6. Copy the following into the third box:
   

   10003

7. Press Write. (Note it will say it failed, just ignore it)
8. Press Read. (If it doesn't show what you had typed in before, just keep on reading!)
   [TIP]If it isn't actually changing, make a blank .txt file and name it Non-Production Errors.txt and save it in your documents folder on the phone![/TIP]

Congrats!

To keep your InteropUnlock, you need to do the following...

1. Uncheck DWORD
2. Paste in the first box:
   

   software\microsoft\devicereg

3. Paste in the second box:
   

   PortalUrlProd

4. Paste in the third box:
   

   http://127.0.0.1

5. Press Write.
6. Press Read.
7. Paste in the second box
   

   PortalUrlInt

8. Press Write.

A few other things to do...
Install and run BootstrapSamsung_Release_ARM.xap, then EnableAllSideloading_Release_ARM.xap from the first post.

That's great! It always seems the Samsung devices get the unlocks first, compared to other devices like Nokia phones. Has there been much development for interop-unlocked WP8 devices? Any specific apps to enhance aspects of the phone?

That's pretty much it for now... nothing really new, just got the app-id for Diagnosis that's all it took to get the interop for us.

I added a a different app to the OP for doing this. Its a little more user friendly and is easier to switch back and forth rather than taking the time to type everything out.

And this is the reason why I just ordered an Odyssey from eBay!!!
Hopefully, I'll finally get free wifi tethering back (man, I miss the Windows Mobile hacking days).
I really hope that this sparks a resurgence of that time.
Making and trying others' custom ROMS was so much fun.

I haven't found where the settings can be changed for tethering yet, but it shouldn't be too hard. Most people already jumped to their crappy share everything plan.
