Hi people,

I currently use a Motorola Defy+ with Android 2.3.6.
(Specs: 1Ghz Processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB Memory, 5MP Camera)

am planning to switch to

Omnia W i8350 with Mango 7.5
(Specs: 1.4Ghz Processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB Memory, 5MP Camera)

Major reasons for the shift are:

1. Windows OS - don't like the direction Android is going. Google seems to have lost control of the OS.

2. Front Camera

3. Price

I wanted to clear out a couple of things:

1. Does the Omnia support USB Tethering? Does it work on a Mac too?
2. Is there something similar to CamScanner, this is about my favorite app on Android - it does magic with scanned business cards and documents.

Thanks in advance.

Samsung Omnia W

I have a Omnia W (unbranded and with latest software) and I am very pleased with it.

1 Yes the Samsung Omnia W has thetering and for connecting to a Mac you use "Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac"

2 Yes you can download " Handyscan" it is a free version with ads or a payed version I think I paid around one Euro for it.
