Streaming to DLNA devices like WDLive or googletv, do these work

I want to be able to send content form a surface to my googletv or wdlive. I was wondering if any of these work

-xbox music
-purchased video that is currently playing on surface
-videos that I recorded with my camera and stored locally on the surface

Anyone try any of the above

Can somebody correct me if I am wrong, but is it possible to use the Surface as a server and control it from a dlna receiver, ie google TV or PS3? I know as of now it is impossible to stream FROM the Surface to the receiver using the Surface.

I can't stream to my DLNA Blu-Ray player from the video app using the devices charm, but if I select the file from the desktop the play to option shows it as a device and it works great.
