0x80188308 error still occurring on Telstra Lumia 920

Hi all. I have a Telstra Lumia 920 down here in Australia that is still experiencing the dreaded 0x80188308 error when attempting to install updates through preview for developers. I have tried completing a hard reset a numerous occasions using instructions found on here and other websites, and I can't get it to work for me for some reason. I don't have a PC, so cannot use software recovery tool or any other computer-based options. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Sitting on Lumia Black in March 2015 really isn't cool.

There is another thread that I was on which involved a 920 and apparently they are not only ones who are facing hardware issues after updating to latest versions. PFD may be ok but in a way from that thread black seems to be involving the best firmware for 920. This link might help worth checking out I suppose.
