First its telling me it needs 850MB, so i made space, after downloading and preparing, now its telling me it needs 1.31GB!
how am i supposed to make 500MB more space!

Not having problem in battery life using lumia 1320 build 10586.29. I can say battery life is awesome.

I have a Lumia 640, at first it gave me a BLUE SAD FACE.. So, I soft reseted twice the phone with Power and Vol- buttons.. obtaining both times the sad face, then I just restarted the phone using only the Power Button and just started to update right at the moment now going EXCELLENT!

I have a Lumia 822 (Verizon). So battery drain is confusing to me. When I am in my home turf no problems at all. In fact unless the phone is mis-reporting the battery strength I'd say the battery life is amazing. However at work it is a different issue. I walk in the door and the battery just empties itself. Now the only difference I see is that I have a very poor cell signal at work. If get 1 bar it's a lot. Could this be the cause of battery drain? I also have an iPhone 5s (company phone) and have no issues at all.

with both .11 and .29 I get terrible battery life with the Lumia 1020. I just wish I could see what the storage capacity is now after two years of use - get the feeling it might be royally screwed anyway.

950 XL, running smooth for past 6 hours. No extra battery drain and everything is just a tad snappier all around.

No hard reset for me, just a soft one.

Skype app is a disaster as always: logout from account FIRST, then set off in backgroud use. If you don't logout, Skype is always online despite of battery settings

My 520 is quite smooth. I had an hard reset on previous build.
As mentioned in forum, stand by drain isn't the build standard, and it's due to uncontrolled background apps like skype not logged out, shazam, and core apps updating and so on.

L635 on TM. Since updating the phone has performed flawlessly. No hard or soft resets, all apps respond and work great. Battery duration has been better than ever. Couldn't be happier.

I've had nothing but problems with my 1020 on the last 2 builds with constant battery draining and cortana is basically useless. she takes 30+ seconds to respond to you.

I've literally given up, when they can make W10M work smoothly i'll do it, but i'll stick to what works. WP 8.1. They expect to launch this OS relatively soon and it's unreliable. Yes i know it's a technical preview, but the last version was released to the public on the 950. Yes i'm comparing a bugatti to a fiat 500 but they both have internal combustion engines and work.

I'm not expecting a glitch free experience, windows 8.1 can't offer that. I'm expecting the same experience but improved. I've provided feedback on all the issues I've encountered.

Cortana has been a problem on your phone from 2014, that is even when you run WP8.1. Looks like your WP8.1 was stuck with a glitch somewhere. You might have to revert to 8.1. Then hard reset the phone and then install WM10. It might work well.

You should have kept your phone on build 10572. IT was working well on both your phones. BTW my Lumia 1020 is working perfectly on 10586.29.

Update went fine, was actually out of the house when i started it, after it finished 98% battery 2 hrs later 4%. Did a Hard and soft charged it to 50% in airplane, left the house 1 1/2 hr later dead. Got mad and bought the 950, that same day, problem fixed lol. Haven't recharged 1020 since Saturday so not sure how its doing now.

OMG, you had to left your poor old phone plugged in, updating and sync everything before abandoning it in a desk as dead

lol its not left to waste away i'll go pull it out of the 950's box and plug it in. I'm just in love with the 950 right now and the speed, smoothness, really no issues. Only issue ive had is it connecting to my car while connected to MB2 sometimes i have to disconnect from MB2 and tell it to connect to car, but today it connected to the car and stayed synced to MB2. So i dunno
