10581 to 10586 = even more core app update fails

Ok, so what the frigg gives and why is there no ACTUAL solution to this. With 81 I had 2 core apps/services(network settings and rate my device) that wouldn't update(error ----8007). So after the update it didn't change. Tonite I did a hard reset in 86, NOW THERES 21 that won't frigging update, with an error of ----8006 now. I swear to Christ this shouldn't be that hard MS. WHY WONT CORE SETTINGS UPDATE????!!!!! I refuse to migrate to a new account like some have claimed to solve the issue. Huge face plant fail if this continues for general upgrades to 10. Not. Acceptable. Solutions PLEASE.

You don't say what phone your using or how your updating ?? Did you roll back to 8.1 and update from there ??

Over time, it will fix itself and download. Mine and others did.

The title says what I did. We aren't supposed to have to revert to 8.1 anymore. The update to 86 went very smooth, considering. It's a Lumia 1020, but that is irrelevant to my post. Display and audio are two of the ones that won't update, the model phone is the cause? lmao. "Time" lmao, again. I had 3 that wouldn't update the entire time I had 81, initial release to yesterday. Guys, listen up, we are close to public OTA updates now. LOOOK AT THE ISSUES ALL OVER THIS FORUM, just from a simple update. I have been doing my part by communicating issues to MS. Now, I'm asking for REAL solutions that don't involve dev tools. Real consumers WILL NOT tolerate this. Think of an older Lumia, won't even update properly, consumer goes into AT&T for help..... Ya, they'll help them into a new iPhone. If MS can't get the updates right.... This dilly is FFFFFFd royally.

A hard reset is supposed to FIX problems. Not increase the issue 7 fold.

Very strange I also have 15 core app updates waiting right now all failing. Also the bug where the settings app crashes when I want to change to quick action where rotation lock sits by default is still occurring. I did a hard reset with installing my latest update on my 1020.

Same here with Nokia 1020. Did a full reset and still have issues with 12 apps now. And the mobile hotspot isn't working properly. It works once but when I try to use it another time, I have to restart the phone. Can't wait to receive my 950XL next week !

How do you know? It seems to be a server-side store issue, device by device. 1520, 930 got solved yesterday, 830 during night, and I guess they're clearing these apps licences device by device.

Still stuck on 640/535, but I expect that it will solve by it self today or in the coming days.

So sorry, but your device type IS relevant as these stock apps (extras, HERE, etc.) need a MS action, server-side, for each device type.
