Hooks up to my Ford Sync...everytime! Camera and screen not as good, but the convenience of one phone...awesome. Very Happy 😊

Very good you like it :)
I think touch in XL better than 1520, from your experience what you think?

I think the touch is better on the 640XL. I hate to say it, but the phone might be better overall, except for the resolution (difference is not really noticeable), the Camera (its a phone first, and does a reasonable job depending on the environment) and the onboard storage (hello 128Gb SD). It just seems to be a smoother experience. But, I still miss my 1520.

Agreed, I came from a 1520 too, and although the screen-resolution and camera are noticeable downgrades, I'm surprised how responsive and better overall the experience is on the 640XL.

Does this mean your 1520 had bluetooth connection issues?
Mine never connects to my car, i have to RE-Pair everytime with the code. Very annoying.

Yes, my 1520 was constantly disconnecting from my vehicle Bluetooth. I paired the 640XL once and it works EVERY time!

I've never had connection issues with Bluetooth and my 1520 either a Jabra drive in my escape or in my wife's escape

I would say yes, I am not finding any instances where I feel the 1520 was better. But I still miss having it as my phone.

See that's the thing about windows phone the experience is so same over all the devices it just provide the incentive to choose a high end phone, for me at least I'll stay with mid range class, I just need a phone that works in all properly and not break my wallet and still get a decent lifetime of device, I'm rocking a Lumia 525 bought back in Feb 2014 and still going except I fried my motherboard USB section that makes my phone detect by experimenting with my own charger experiment. Now I want to test windows 10 but I can't roll back due to my phone not being detected by my PC. I'm looking forward to upgrade to 740XL when it releases. Until then best of luck 640XL owners.

Cool, since it's a downgrade and the SoC and RAM basically only half of what your 1520 has, do you notice any difference in performance?

Reading this from my 1520 make me cry. Is it 640xl really that good in comparison with 1520?

The only thing I truly miss is my pureview camera. That is probably the only true weakness for the phone. However my front facing cam is amazing and the back camera isn't bad. It just isn't pureview. Its better than the camera in the HTC one m8 windows
