1520 digitiser replacement

Has anyone had any success replacing the digitiser only on a 1520? I've replaced them on iPads and Galaxy Tabs before and got a very cheap 1520 with a cracked front glass and the lcd is good so was hoping to do it myself. I just haven't seen any YouTube tutorials etc so that doesn't bode well
