1520 on W10 preview wont update store apps

My update for 6Tag is stuck about 1/3 of the way through, it wont even start the download of the update for Microsoft photos. Here is what I have tried:

Turned off developer mode, rebooted.
turned off developer mode, uninstalled casper, rebooted
did a soft reset as well. it's been stuck like this for the last few days

any ideas?

Seems to be a problem for me too, unless I sit and watch it download (very slowly). Just cant leave the app or let phone sleep.
 
I read elsewhere it may be caused by side-loaded Android universal apps (e.g. Word Preview, Excel Preview, etc.). Uninstall any apps that may be Android-compatible.
 
But my MS Word and Excel were downloaded directly from the Store?

I'm not currently using the W10M preview, so I'm just relaying what I've read elsewhere.

But it's still worth a try. Just uninstall any app that may be Android-compatible, starting with MS Word, Excel, etc. If updates start working, then you have your answer.

If nothing works, you'll at least have updated apps when you reinstall them. ;)
 
Hi everyone,

I have the latest build installed on my 930, ever since I installed it, there was two apps that would never update..Tetris Blitz and Straw.

I tried rebooting and uninstalling them so I can reinstall but it doesn't allow me to, so I also tried uninstalling from storage app and they weren't listed there.

Today, two more apps started following this trend, Uber and Metrotube.

When they fail to update it says 'error, see details'

Which tells me:

  • Try that again
    Something went wrong.
    The error code is 0x80073CF9, incase you need it

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
 
I have 7 apps on that list on 930 and 5 on 925 and there is nothing we can do, expect hard reset which I did on both devices couple of days ago and I'm not going to do it again until the next update...
 
Same here, cannot update apps, and not even install new ones. Really frustrating. lumia 930.

I resolved uninstalled all the apps and re.installed once directly by searching in the Store

How did you manage to uninstall? I am unable to uninstall from app screen nor from the storage app, which makes it impossible to reinstall from the store.
 
I'm also getting the 803F7000 error when it tries to download from the store. Uber was one app so I uninstalled it and then tried to reinstall but without success.
 
I had this a few times, but so far I was able to resolve the problem by turning the phone off and on.
 
I needed to perform a hard reset in the end :( Fixed the issue but there's no guarantee it won't happen again.
 
Mine was not fixed. Error 803f7000 still persists. So persisting that I have memorized the code already.
