15215 For The Icon

I have yet to receive it. Is a registry hack necessary? I'm already in the fast ring.

Thanks

I too have an Icon running w10 and I'd love to continue getting updates. I've looked around for instructions how to spoof a phone in the list provided but haven't really found anything on how to. Any help or direction would be appreciated!!

Did you try this and how's it working and what model phone did you use? I updated to fast ring and got 15063.2 but I'm stuck after that and wondering about spoofing the model. Unfortunately this is my daily driver.

If I set my Icon to the "Release Preview", will it still receive latest builds? What is the last build that it can get through the insider program, without any "spoofing" or registry work?

Zac Bowden was saying how great Creators update runs on the 930... Didn't he get that through insider builds? Can you still do that for the Icon?

I did the registry hack on mine to mimic a 950XL, it works flawless on the latest builds so far. The phone runs so much better than it did when 10 Mobile first released!

01mggt,
Can you please share the settings and values that you changed to get your Icon on Redstone 3. I too would like to upgrade my Icon. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I mimicked mine to a 550 and am currently on 10.0.15254.158. I got hung up on the 15063 version and replaced the OEMImput.xml file and got past the update error. If anyone has any questions I would be happy to share what I did to update my phone...

Yes, please. I've never tried to spoof my Icon, so if you could provide some basic steps to get me on the latest stable build, that would be awesome. Thanks!

I am also interested. I'm currently at 10.0.15063.2 and getting the 0x80070273 error. I've seen your recommended "fix" on XDA-Developers and have dabbled with it, without success. First, what version of Interop Tools did you use, and where did you get it? From Microsoft, or somewhere else? Second what value did you use for the {PROCESSOR_NAME} parameter? In a post, it was recommended to use QC8960 for the 920/925/1020 phones. Dose this work for the 929? I'm also trying to work with Windows Phone Internals 2.4, but I haven't gotten it work either. Any help would be appreciated.

This is an old post. However, I am currently with version 15254.401 May 2018 and the mobile is fast.Updates to Windows 10 are unknowns, perform several hard reset due to application malfunction. With patience you can find a version of Windows 10 that depends on the rings go correctly on the cell phone.

My Icon is using 10.0.15063.1088 and it's very stable. My wifes has a diff version (I'll post that up later). I'm trying to find out if I can update her's to a newer version using the OTC.
