Aerize Explorer | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States)

official site - Aerize Explorer - Aerize Premium Windows Phone Apps and Utilities

try it n leave ur comments about it here.

This app is brilliant. I'm just playing around with it a bit.
A suggestion: Show a "Loading..." message when we open any folder because folders with too many files take some time to load and people may think that app crashed or that it couldn't read the folder (Happened to me while I opened my 300+ photos Camera Roll folder). Thanks for such a brilliant app.

EDIT: Do you currently support unsupported file types like .mkv, .rar so that I can atleast rename or view them. And if I am thinking right, this means that now anyone can maybe even write codecs to allow us to play unsupported audio and video using their app pretty easily. (MoliPlayer achieved this long ago but that's not free and I'm a non earning college student, so!)

Woah, this is great. Exactly what WP was missing.

I seem to be able to deal with MKV files and RAR files just fine.

But that might be because I have MoliPlayer and VBA8, and they're set to open MKV files and RAR files. Need to try a file format for which I don't have an app.

Either way, this is great. Could do with some improvements, like a loading animation as mentioned by the above poster, but it's still pretty good. Thanks for giving this for free.

EDIT: Tried a random MDS file with no app to handle it on the phone.

It still gives me the options to Rename/Copy/Cut/Delete. Only, I can't open it because there's no app to open it, but the app even suggests to open the store and search.

guys I am not a dev. of this app.. so please find ways for ur valuable suggetions on their official site which I provide.
also folow them on tweeter and inform them oboit ur queries.

also try to give feedback on via wp store..

Since when its first?
Lol, i was specting this, however, this app for example has access to the internal folders in the phone memory(ringtones, videos etc) yours doesn't, so, in that aspect, is superiour, however this one is slow, it crashed when opening my music folder, so in performance you're #1, for now. My advice is, implement the file picker tingy, that is the trick this app is using to getting access to the internal memory

^know any other fully-functioning file manager published before this?
Pocket file manager, full access, to sd card only, but full access, here's the difference: this app uses the file picker to access the data, which is why it only works with wp 8.1, pocket file manager's developer was granted API access to sd card by microsoft, which allows it to work with wp 8.0 and 8.1, so you don't need to install the dev preview if you don't want to, plus pfm has music player, video player, download manager, ftp manager, send files by bluetooth, and a lot of other features, it's 2$ but it's worth it, by the way, that was your 666 post, which makes it a devilish post D:

But Pocket File Manager can't move files in the internal memory. For example, I can't move pictures between folders.

PFM paid version user.

EDIT: I need an updated Pocket File Manager, I love the features, but I need access to internal folder.

As i said, "to sd card only, but full access", not being able to move files the internal memory is a problem only people with phone that doesn't have sd card port have, low end lumia users like me, are just fine, especially with 8,1 dev preview, all my data is in my sd card, i can use PFM as a 100% file manager with no lackings, heck, the only thing i want from pocket file manage right know is a grid view of file options(extract, send by bluetooth, etc) instead of horizontal view, and access to the ring tone folder, i'm also a PFM paid user.

It's funny but in terms of storage, low end phone are better than high end in windows phone, in my country the lumia 1520 is not available, so, the best phone you can get is the 1020, but, and most of my friends thinks the same, no sd card = no buy, not having an sd card is why people here choose either an android phone or a low end windows phone.

Well, sincerely, I prefer 32GB fast internal memory than 8GB + SD.

The Aerize Explorer needs a lot of work, I hope it could be updated soon.
