First off is there a way to end tasks when veiwing the app selection screen?

Also in my people's tile I had some friends that I recently deleted form my facebook friends. I have my phone set to only take contacts from facebook yet my list is not updating. I still see those people I deleted and it wont let me delete them for some reason.

2. no point in closing apps . it doesn't use memory/battery ... its just a quick resume . the card will dispensary automatically once you reach 5. ( its not like a Webos/android phone .... its like the Iphone .. its not REAL multitasking .. its Quick resume ... )

3. not sure for the contacts . maybe your phone has not sync properly yet. try a soft reset

Technically, you can end the app by relaunching the app and then hitting the back button immediately thereafter.

As for the facebook contacts try resyncing your facebook account with your phone OR log in to your Windows Live account and see if they were synced there. If so, to the latter, simply delete them.
