2 Newbie questions

I just got a Lumia 928, and have a couple of questions:

1- How do I sync my G-Mail contacts to this phone? It will sync the e-mails and the calendar, but I get a message saying that the phone doesn't have enough memory to finish syncing. It has over 25 GB available.

2- How do I know what updates that I have installed on the phone? It is showing: OS version: 8.0.10517.150
Firmware revision number: 3051.40000.1352.0058. And it says that it is up to date when I check for updates.
