256 color mode or Fuzzy screen

So I am on my third 1520. 2 Reds and now a Black, this issue is def software.
I spoke to rep at the windows store and they said they have no idea what I was talking about so it must be the phones. They suggested I changed color which I did, but issue is still there. Hopefully Nokia will send out a update soon for this. Its very random and its hard to troubleshoot.

Store reps seldom have a clue, and device replacement is often an easy answer. I agree it sounds like a software bug that MS needs to sort out. Still having the issue?

is this that weird high contrast mode that lasts a few moments after power on? there are other threads about it

Yes and I am still having the issue its at least 5 times a day

Makes me wonder. I have Glance and the beta Glance Backgrounds installed and every once in a while, when I turn on my phone, the display is REALLY dim. Glance screen dim. Using it for a few seconds brings the brightness back to normal.
