Hello all,
What do you guys think:
is there a difference in processor usage when using 2G or 3G mode (same tasks running)?
I have data connection enabled on my phone (let's say wifi is off) and some background tasks running (weather flow and chronos calendar are active).
When my phone is idle (not using it for 10-20 mins) in 2G mode, the back of it (where the cpu is) is 'cold'.
Then, when I switch to 3G, put down my phone, after a few minutes I check the back and its a bit 'warm' and it stays like that... so it seems the cpu is always working a little bit in 3G mode.
Is this normal?
Are there more processes in 3G mode? Is this why I can do almost 3 days uptime on 2G, and only about 1 day in 3G mode?
Just curious
