4oD coming to Windows Phone 8.

Today I decided to email a few companies that I'd really like to see a Windows Phone (and 8) app for. I think its important to make your voice herd.

Along with Fitbit, Quidco, Nationwide I emailed Channel 4. If you live in the UK you know that other than the BBC, Channel 4 and the only TV company worth their salt... and I had some good news.

I left out the persons name out of respect. I am unsure if this is wanted public knowledge.... But they didn't ask me to keep it to myself and I would also assume other people have no doubt had the same reply before me.

Great news.

I emailed Channel 5 recently and they too are working on a WP8 app for Demand 5.

With these apps, iPlayer and the STV app (which is essentially ITV) we're pretty well covered in the UK with TV apps... just Sky that needs to commit now...
