520 really laggy after 8.1 update

After I updated to 8.1 my 520 has been really laggy. It takes up to ten seconds to open an app, I get the "resuming..." Message nearly every time I exit an app, and its just all around slow in everything that it does. Any thoughts on this?

Two of my friends experienced the same situation. (520 & 720). Solution is "hard reset". After a fresh install of wp8.1, they re both doing fine.

My wife's is like this...I did a hard reset, still seems kinda slow...could it be that I used an online backup when it was restored?

btw, mine has been perfect

Mine was very laggy when I updated my 520 and moved my apps to the SD card , it got really slow that I had to hard reset the phone and change my settings to save my apps on phone instead of the SD card

Make sure the SD card is class 10 or higher

I bought her a 16gb class 10 because she had a class 6 4gb...will see if that helps...whats odd is mine is a 16gb class 4 and haven't had any issues
