Question about tethering.

On a Prepaid T-Mobile Account, is this possible?

Also, what data speeds should I expect? And how is the service reliability when using tehering?

Disclaimer- I have a 4G Wimax hotspot and the service is crap at times. Looking to maybe moving my plan from the 50 dolllar one to the 60 or 70 dollar one if i can tether. The school internet has been on the fritz, and I use it alot during my commute for school work so I think its a good idea. Even though i'm a poor college kid

The 50 and 60 prepaid plans include tethering. The 70 unlimited does not. On the 50 it is 500mb and on the 60 2.5gb. Once you go over those data limits then you get throttled gown to 2g speed both for cellular and tethering. I do it everyday on my PC.
On the 70 plan it may be possible to use tetherx and get away with it.

The $70 unlimited data plan now includes 2.5GB of tethering data (previously 500MB not zero) and cost an extra $10 for each added 2GB of tethering data.
