because YOU will be flashing it and not the OFFICIAL representative....somehow they will come to know when and if you take it to the service centre for repair before the warranty ends....

I flashed it with NSU for retail. It shows warranty is valid.

YES, the GDR2 update is LIVE for the Nokia Lumia 620. However, it is quite strange that I'm still not able to grab it OTA. Perhaps a technical problem and hope it gets rectified soon.



Take your time guys and please don't forget to post screenshots once you complete the update process.

Lastly, do keep in mind that USING NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATER FOR RETAIL OR NOKIA CARE SUITE DOES NOT BREACH YOUR WARRANTY.

well this wont void ur warranty as u r using the nokia software update , the files are on nokia servers henche the official firmware files that will be send to ota later.this is the same update guys and this works perfectly.i have lumia 920 flashed on 5th august and I cross checked with the yesterday ota its 100 %same. just backup all ur settings

you are downloading 1030.6407.1308.0001 and the same software version is installeed in your l620 so how's it gdr2 update? its the same firmware and your are downloading this...lol..only L920 or 820 users recived updates.L720 must recived updates very soon.so dnt be blind dnt update with same firmware...

Let's clear the confusion once and for all!

For Nokia Lumia 620:

GDR1 = 1030.6407.1308.0001 or 1030.6407.1308.0002 (there is no difference between the two)
GDR2 = 3046.0000.1329.2001

And please keep the discussion limited to Nokia Lumia 620 as this thread is under the Nokia Lumia 620 sub-forum.

If you flash your Lumia using Nokia Software Updater for Retail or Nokia Care Suite, everything on your phone will be deleted. However, once GDR2 gets installed, you will be presented with an option to either restore your backup or start fresh.

If you update your Lumia over-the-air, you'll lose nothing.

Successfully Installed AMBER GDR2 on Lumia 620.Smart Cam is preinstalled.Installed Pro Cam too .
AMBER Facts for LUMIA 620 :-
1.FM Radio isnt present
2.Double tap to wake doesnt work

Rest Data Sense ,Glance Screen Display Profile,Flip to Silence Everything Works Smooth

The Storage issue also has been fixed in GDR2
