625 Can't send picture message

Can anyone help please. Just got Lumia 625 and I find I cannot send pictures with my messages.
Each time I receive the reply "can't send, try again"

Are you using mobile network or WiFi?

Are you using a device branded to your wireless provider or an unlocked device from a different provider?

I am on an O2 phone now running on Giff Gaff. I couldn't send when I was on O2, and still can't; didn't expect the problem to be the provider anyway.
I have received photos and have tried forwarding them on with the same results. I have tried using Wi-Fi and mobile network, and I've been roaming to no avail.

Okay Laura, sorry for delay.
I've altered the MMS settings. and I still cannot send. Okay on SMS.
What now?

I have tried these settings Laura, without any joy. I have actually been given another set of settings with a different proxy and omitting "password".
I know it sounds petty 'cos I can send a picture by email but not everyone has email.
What is the MNC (mobile network code) can that have an effect?

Try contacting customer care of your specific provider if all solution fails.... They might come up with a solution.

I was having the same problem, turns out I just had cell data turned off

Pictures are probably to big..large i mean. Try to crop them before sending(several times). I had a exactly same problem...
