640 From a 1520

My 1520 was stolen and I got a 640 to hold me over for the new flagships.
I am really impressed by this $80 phone. Little slower for sure, but the camera is on par with my friends iPhone 5s, build quality is decent and not too many hiccups. Excellent value.

Wish it had a little more internal storage but I can't be mad due to the price.

Crazy how a low end phone packs so much in theses days.

The same thing happened with me when I was backpacking in Macedonia. I got an Android phone as a replacement, but compared to the Lumia 1520 it was absolutely crap.

Yesterday I got the 640 and have been loving it ever since. Although not very fast, it is extremely smooth in all of its operations. It is a great looking phone as well, I prefer it to the big Lumia 1520.

That's what I like about Windows Phone as Android doesn't run smooth on low end hardware and for it to run smooth it has to have high end specs.

While mine didn't get stolen I too left the 1520 for the 640 and 640 XL. It is a good phone. My only complaint is app launch time and photos.
