640 GoPhone on MobileShare???

I got a great deal on a L640 at Microsoft Store. I bought it to replace one of the older phones on our Family MobileShare Plan.

Now I'm concerned because the box says "GoPhone".

We don't have a prepaid plan. I want to use it for one of our contract plan lines.

Can a "GoPhone" be used on a MobileShare Plan?

That's precisely how I've been using mine. Just pop my SIM card into whichever device and I'm on my way

Worked perfectly for me. Just popped my post paid AT&T SIM in and away I went. No unlocking or registering IMEI necessary. I am using on the mobile share plan.

FYI... All AT&T GoPhones work like this as per multiple reps and individuals I have talked to. Issues occur only if using another carriers SIM card such as T-Mobile. This requires unlocking.
