Lots of poor ratings for this phone but i believe a lot of the problems are the buyers not updating the phone straight away.

Still it's not good for potential buyers reading these reviews

Typically, some of the "bad reviews" have no detail, show a lack of understanding or don't even deal with the product (shipping complaint).

Typing this on my 650. This phone is running the .318 release and it has a smoothness and fluidity to it that makes this device a pleasure to use
The 650 feels good in the hand also. Fairly good Battery life if you don't watch a lot of videos and the glass doesn't show fingerprints like my BLU does.
If you are not a gamer and just want simplicity in a phone this is a good one to get.

Yeah, those reviews can be such a mixed bag. Some users will have poor knowledge of functions or strange usage/needs/expectations.

Windows 10 is odd when it comes to updating. All of my experience on this comes from using it on laptops.

BAD:
Updating earlier than others (sometimes you don't have a choice, I know) has meant that literally tens of millions of people had unusable computers because of significant bugs (Google away for these bugs, to your heart's content).

GOOD:
When MS does sort out the bugs, you need to accept the newest updates to clear things up. It is a well-oiled machine when they are actually fixed.

So...I will update my new 650 when I get it. But, for Anniversary update...I'll try slow it down as much as possible. After the November update...I want to be one of the last people to update....
