8.1 Better for linux users?

Anyone think that windows phone 8.1 will allow linux users to freely manage our phone's a little more? There have been a lot of issues with trying to get it to work with them. I'm hoping some of the new usb updates will compensate for those.

That's a good question.

I run Linux in addition to Windows. (Mint 16/Ubuntu 12.04/Win8.1).

I would also like better compatibility with Linux.

My main machine is a linux computer. I would love to be able to sync music a little easier than having to use the family desktop....

same here i quad boot windows 7,8.1,ubuntu 12.04 LTS and Elementary OS Luna(yeah i love all four)
same hdd for all 4 but at the moment i only sync on windows 7

I'd also like to see that. Even tho I rarely use linux (backtrack/kali), I just want to see support. It just shows how much MS cares about their customers.
