i've installed wp 8.1 on my lumia 625 but the battery are worse and i think it's not as fast as when i was on wp 8

so is it worth to back to wp8 and upgrade to cyan?

is cyan faster and battery stay more?

Yes Cyan is much better!! Right now ye are using an unofficial OS without it's firmware which affects the phone's working in many ways!! I would strongly suggest that ye check if Cyan update is available for your handset or not,,If yes then downgrade to WP 8 using Nokia Software Removal Tool and hard reset it and after that install WP 8.1(official)+Cyan!! Enjoy!!

Cyan might improve your battery life, but it might not. It's not a magical cure all for the issues you might have, as others in this forum are perpetuating. You'll eventually get cyan on the dev preview anyway, so you don't *need* to hard reset and lose all your data.

Cyan is a magical cure for your battery and most of the time performance. If you still have any lag, you might need to hard reset.

i will downgrade now and wait for cyan,
8.1 awesome but battery is worse and it's not much speed as it was before

My battery was also draining very fast when ii installed cyan with GDR 1 but did a hard reset and boy it has come back on track as my WP 8 usage

With the official 8.1 update along with the cyan firmware, the battery lasts longer than it was with the dp. There are no more unexplainable battery draining and often overheating. Now I am with cyan and gdr1 and my battery is quite fair in mg Lumia 920.

Edit: It feels again like a WP stable, lag free and fast :)

I also have cyan but not on developer preview should i go for developer preview to get 8.1 gdr 1 or stay on official 8.1??

I've previously used dp. Then downgrade to win8 for cyan updates.. Now I'm in official 8.1 os. Can I again go for dp..

From where in my mobile i can find whether i am using dev preview or official update?
my mobile shows:
firmware revision number: 3058.50000.1424.0001
IMS: not registered
