Downloaded the app and paid for it a month ago. And uninstalled it to try other apps. Now when I'm trying to reinstall it , its asking me to pay. The purchase history shows me I own the app but when I press install it shows an error code. And when I search it by store and try to install it asks me to buy it and take to bank page.
Way to go u fake

I'm having this issue too. Downloaded the update for 8.1 HD Tiles, which wouldn't install (error code: 80004005). Deleted the app the see if it would reinstall afterwards, to find that it now wants to charge me to purchase the app I already owned. Is this just a bug, or is it the developer screwing its users over?

No i dont think thats the intention.
Perhappes he/she pulled it from the store add some changes and pushed it back.
You can hit the raport button for MS, but you can also contact the developer.
Maybe he/she doesnt know about this issue.

I hate to calle names or say its a fake, not without a explanation of the counterpart.
Maybe its a error, who knows.
Just give a chanche to explane or correct it.

I've had that same error 80004005 trying to install a free app from the store, and so have other people judging by threads about it here. I had to hard reset my phone to get rid of it. I'm pretty sure it has not anything to do with the developer of the app since I have seen it reported with several different apps.

I contacted the developer about updating issue and according to him the bug causing the issue is from MS.
This is his respond :
Microsoft have just now responded. It seems, Windows Phone 8.1 has a bug while updating a free app that has become paid. The only way to get the update is to uninstall and reinstall the app from it's web site on your desktop. Even for that, you will be asked to pay for installation. This seems to be a major bug , but they are not to keen to fix this bug anytime soon.

So there is no choice but to now pay for an app that I had already downloaded for free? This isn't a bug, it's a lawsuit. I can't pay for something that I already own! How does this not affect apps that become free for a limited period? I'm not sure I believe the developer.

I do. I meanwhile got three apps with this bug. All where free and got paid or where free for a limited time.

If it's not the developers fault, the obvious solution is for the developer to publish a separate paid-for version of the app in the Store, and no longer update the free one.
